Enjoy a variety of Activities in Argolida & the Peloponnese.
How to fill your time when on holiday in Vivari...
The Peloponnese offers us a huge variety of activities and things to do to pass the time to those that are inclined to do more than just relax on the beach..
Vivari is the perfect place to practice snorkelling and investigate the world underwater, just a few minutes away at Candia beach (Kondyli) it is also possible to scuba dive. Generally the Argolida is an excellent destination or those interested in water sports and Tolo offers waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing with tuition if required. For the more adventurous, just outside Nafplion, there is a kite surfing club which is also very popular, plus, in Vivari itself there is the chance to take part in rock climbing at certain times of the year.
The archaeological sites and historical monuments are more often that not featured in the programme during holidays to Greece and we are proud to say that this area is one of the richest in the country, being home to such sites as Epidavros, Mycenae, Olympia & Ancient Tiryns.
For a more traditional approach to spending your time whilst in Vivari, why not take a morning out to learn how to cook some Greek dishes or have a short trip out to Nemea and taste some of the great wines of the Corinthian region. Visit the Natural History Museum in Ligourio on the way to Epidavros and combine this with a trip to the local olive press.
The Winter months in the Peloponnese are generally mild except for on high ground where skiing can be found, just an hour or so from Vivari... the list is endless... see below..
